Join us on Mondays at 1 p.m. for Dottie’s Oil Painting class. Instructor Dottie Kozak, pictured below with one of her own beautiful landscape paintings, gently fine tunes each student’s talent.
Interested in doing ceramics? Come and try doing a piece. We have starter pieces for you. We also have the paints and brushes to start out. The cost is minimal, $ .25 per class. If you do a piece that has to be fired, the cost is 10% of the original cost of the piece. Example: Piece cost $1.50, it would cost $.15 to have it fired. Every Wed. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. we have a lot of fun for just a small amount of money. Hope to see some new faces soon.
At left, from angels to baskets to a bear in a tree, ceramics students’ interests drive the wide variety of projects.
If you like to knit and crochet, come together with other seniors. We meet every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Don’t have supplies? No problem! We have some available for you to use. Enjoy a couple of hours of fun and relaxation.
At right, Marcia Hoffman sets up for a craft sale to benefit the Center.
