By popular request we will be offering another Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance class on Fridays at 2 p.m. All levels of Tai Chi students are welcome, but please know that we will be focusing on basics and technique in this beginner class.
We are also teaching Tai Chi on Tuesdays at 2 p.m., a new schedule replacing the 3 p.m. class. First class is FREE, then $2 per class.
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a highly successful CDC evidence-based falls prevention and fitness program for women and men. Tai Chi’s calm, gentle movement by design greatly improves physical and mental well-being. Training for teaching this class was given by Yang-style Master instructor Suman Barkhas, a Mongolian Tai Chi Master who directs for Oregon state this low impact exercise that puts minimal stress on muscles and joints.
