Feel a little crafty? Come try out our fun groups of previously idle hands.
Here are some classes/groups we offer regularly.

Oil Painting

This oil painting class attracts aspiring artists who come to work on projects that are unique to each senior. With the help of a class instructor, seniors work on brush techniques, blending skills, color pallets and shading. Seniors provide their own materials. Each three-hour class permits time for individual interaction between artists. Cost for class is $6.

Interested in doing ceramics? Come and try doing a piece. We have starter pieces, paints and brushes to start out plus our own kiln on site for firing. The cost is minimal, $1.25 per class. Firing fee is 10% of the original cost of the piece. Every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. we have a lot of fun. Hope to see some new faces soon.

From angels to baskets to a bear in a tree, ceramics students’ interests drive the wide variety of projects.

Crafters Corner

If you like to knit and crochet, come together with other seniors. We meet every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Don’t have supplies? No problem! We have some available for you to use. Enjoy a couple of hours of fun and relaxation among friends.
