Creative Art

This multi-media class attracts aspiring artists who come to work on projects that are unique to each senior. With the help of the class leaders, seniors explore painting, fabric art, or other media a student may choose. Guest instructors often available. Each three-hour class permits time for individual interaction between artist and instructor. $1 plus material fees apply for this class.

Explore fabric art, jewelry or other media. Surprise yourself!

From angels to baskets to a bear in a tree, ceramics students’ interests drive the wide variety of projects. The Center operates its own firing kiln for class ceramic projects. Find a personal project from among vases, wall plaques, coffee mugs, piggy banks and figurines. Ceramics class offers a wide selection of paint colors in glazes, acrylics and other technique paints that are available. The instructor guides technique and finishing details. $1 plus material, including bisque pieces, and firing fees.
